PAYS DE GALLESRésumé : Cet air gallois ancien a été publié pour la première fois en 1794 dans les Reliques musicales et poétiques des bardes gallois. David Owain était un célèbre barde gallois qui vivait dans le Nord du Pays de Galles dans une ferme appelée Gareg Wen (La pierre blanche). Une légende raconte qu'avant de rendre son dernier souffle il aurait demandé que sa harpe lui soit apportée. Il aurait alors composé cette mélodie.
